Today, China Mobile advocated to establish an alliance for small and medium-sized enterprises(SMB), and entered the enterprises business of TD-SCDMA through TD standard wireless phone product.
In the morning segment of 2009 SMBs informatization forum, Jianzhou Wang (the CEO of China Mobile) said that there is a huge demand for information technology in the SMBs. According to the statistic, the amount of SMBs in China is over 42 million, account for 99.8% of total enterprises in China, occupied 60% of total national GDP, account for 50% tax revenue of total state's tax revenue, sale volume account for 59% in total, supplied 75% of new job opportunity. Hence, China mobile advocated to establish an alliance for SMB.
At the same time, he said that China Mobile should play the critical role in this alliance, cooperating with finance and IT enterprises together. The brand of China mobile for enterprises’ clients is called “i-power”. In this forum, China mobile announced that it will launch a new product called “SMBs informatization services package”. China Mobile associated with banks supplied this services package which is tailored for SMBs, together with several promotion services. It includes “Three roducts”, “Four Big Gains”, “Five VIP Services”. Among them, the “Three Products” refers to the series products of China Mobile i-power brand, a seriers of financial and software banking produts.
Jianzhou Wang also said, with the development of TD, China mobile will enter the services buisness for enterprises’ clients through TD technology. It is reported that TD wireless phone terminals already achieved recently.
